The Denver Broncos signed free-agent linebacker T.J. Hollowell to a two-year deal on Saturday. Howell, who will be entering his third season, has played in six regular-season games during his career. Two years ago, he signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent from Nebraska, and last year, he was with the New York Jets to start the season.
Later in the season though, the Jets released Hollowell. He was on the Miami Dolphins active roster for a short time last year, and then spent the final five weeks of the season on the Chicago Bears' practice squad. Hollowell will try to be a backup linebacker on the talented Broncos defense.
