The Broncos are still building the "Browns" defensive line in Denver. The Broncos signed free-agent defensive end Kenard Lang to a three-year deal on Friday. Although Lang played linebacker last year, he is really a defensive end.
Last year, the Browns had no room for Lang in their 3-4 system as a lineman, so they converted him to a linebacker. He lost a lot of weight and was a team player, recording 43 tackles and two sacks. He never really got going though, and was not re-signed by the Browns.
Lang joins former Browns defensive linemen Gerard Warren and Courtney Brown, who he played with for several years in Cleveland.
