-
New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister has been given a seven year contract extension. It is believed that McAllister will be the second highest paid running back behind LaDainian Tomlinson of the Chargers.

McAllister's best season was in 2003 when he rushed for 1,641 yards and eight touchdowns. That season, he seemed to rush for 100 yards each and every game.

Last year, he only rushed for 1,074 yards, but had nine touchdowns in 14 games. He missed some time due to injury, but is ready to go for this season and years to come.
