The Miami Dolphins made two signings on Thursday with wide receiver
Az-Zahir Hakim and offensive guard
Chris Liwienski, both of whom were unrestricted free agents. Hakim, a fourth-round pick from the 1998 draft by the St. Louis Rams, has 316 catches for 4,191 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career. He can also return punts fairly well.
Liwienski, a seventh-round pick in the 1998 draft by the Detroit Lions, played most of his career with the Minnesota Vikings until 2005. He has 80 starts in his career, including some time at left guard, right guard, and right tackle. He last played for the Arizona Cardinals.
The Dolphins also re-signed long snapper
John Denny to a one-year deal.
