The Miami Dolphoms have signed first round pick Vernon Carey to a five year contract. Terms of the deal are unknown. Carey is an offensive lineman who will contend for the right tackle starting role. He will compete with John St. Clair for the role.

Miami's offensive line struggled last year, showing in Ricky Williams poor stats compared to his previous years. Carey was the 19th pick overall.
