Houston Texans running back Domanick Davis has been named inactive for Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davis is trying to recover from inflammation in his knee. Running back Jonathan Wells will be the starting back.
Davis has been one of the lone bright spots for the Jaguars offense this year, including their win against the Cleveland browns last week. This comes as a blow for the Texans, who were hoping to build some momentum coming off a win last week.
Davis has rushed for 547 yards and one touchdown this year. He has also been a factor in the passing game, catching 23 passes for 176 yards.
Wells only has seven carries for 25 yards this year. He has seven catches for 42 yards.
