San Francisco QB Ken Dorsey sat out for the teams drills on Tuesday with a sore right Achilles Tendon.

Coach Dennis Erickson does not believe the injury is serious, and says Dorsey is expected to start Saturday when they open the preseason against the Raiders.

Dorsey needs to take advantage of the opportunity he's been handed. With Tim Rattay still sidelined, this is Dorsey's chance to impresses coaches and win a starting spot on the team.

Rattay is likely the better QB, but word out of San Fran is the team is high on Dorsey. He may end up going into the season as the team's starter.
