Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver will start today for the Green Bay Packers after suffering a sprained foot on August 23. The injury originally seemed like it could stretch into the regular season, but it wasn't as serious as once thought. With the amount of production Driver always provides for quarterback Brett Favre, this is huge for the Packers offense Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Although the news was positive regarding Driver, the same can't be said for wide receiver Greg Jennings. Jennings will not play today due to a hamstring injury. That opens the door for rookie receiver James Jones to get the start. Jones was tremendous in the preseason, and the team can only hope that that momentum carries over to the regular season.
Recommendation: While the Packers received great news with Driver practicing and being listed as probable on Friday, his teammate Greg Jennings missed practice because of a hamstring injury and is now listed as questionable.
