The Philadelphia Eagles have lost WR Todd Pinkston for the entire 2005-2006 season after he ruptured his Achilles' tendon during practice Friday.
Pinkston injured his right ankle after tripping on a route down the sideline. He stayed down for several minutes before being helped to a medical tent.
The Eagles are really thin at wide receiver. Terrell Owens is day-to-day and should be fine, but the only threat after him is Greg Lewis who caught 17 passes during the regular season.
"We feel bad from a team standpoint for Todd," said head coach Andy Reid. "He worked very hard this offseason. He was having a heck of a camp, and it's a shame this happened."
