At this point in time, Indianapolis Colts RB Edgerrin James is assuming that he will not be resigned by the team this offseason.

"I don't see nothing happening," James told the Indianapolis Star. "You can read between the lines and from the things I'm hearing, nothing's going to happen."

James is a restricted free agent, and the Colts will already be trying to sign WR Reggie Wayne to a new deal. On top of that, the Colts already have a high salary due to all of their impact players. There is a chance that the Colts could use the franchise tag on James, but James may be reluctant in accepting that.
