-
The first overall pick in the NFL draft, Eli Manning, has signed with the New York Giants. The Giants did not have the first pick in the draft, so Manning was drafted by the Chargers. The Giants chose Phillip Rivers, and then traded to get Manning.

Manning's deal is believed to be a six year deal worth about $54 million including incentives.

Manning however, will still likely sit the bench to begin the Giants season and learn a little behind former MVP Kurt Warner. Things could always change though.

Eli Manning is the younger brother of one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Peyton Manning.
