The NFLs all time leading rusher has made it official - he is retiring. Smith has spent 15 years in the NFL. 13 of those years were with the Cowboys, while the last two were with the Cardinals.

Smith ran for 18,355 yards and 164 touchdowns in his career. This season, he just missed the 1,000 yard mark for the Cardinals with 937 yards and nine touchdowns.

"I've given everything I can possible to the game, on and off the field," Smith said.

Smith has battled through injuries with the Cardinals, and will retire as a Cowboy into the Hall of Fame.
