Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds did not practice Wednesday, sparking rumors that the receiver could be suspended by head coach Mike Mularkey. At the moment, it is not known why he would be suspended.
Mularkey told Moulds of his decision on Monday during a meeting, who was surprised. The official suspension will not be made until Bills' owner Ralph Wilson gives the "ok" on it.
The Bills are basically out of playoff contention with a 4-8 record. On top of that, Moulds has not produced under second-year QB J.P. Losman. When veteran backup QB Kelly Holcomb was the starter, Moulds flourished.
The suspension may be due to Moulds questioning the play-calling, and being frustrated after he was benched for most of the final three quarters against the Miami Dolphins this past week. Ironically, that is when the Bills collapsed.
"I don't really want to comment on it. I don't want it to be a situation like T.O.," Moulds said.
