That is right 49er fans, he is not going anywhere, at least not by choice. San Francisco 49ers head coach Dennis Erickson has turned down the head coaching job at Ole Miss. Erickson met with the Ole Miss athletic director, Pete Boone, last night and decided that the job wasn't for him. "It wasn't the right fit either way", said Erickson. Though Erickson has decided to remain with the 49ers, there is a small rumor circulating that the 49ers may fire him after the season and attempt to hire Bill Walsh as its new head coach.
