-
The New York Giants have signed running back Little John Flowers, who played for NFL Europe this past spring. He played for the Berlin Thunder and ran for 283 yards and two touchdowns to go along with 10 receptions for 112 yards and another score.

Flowers has tried to make the New York Jets team since 2002, when he spent the season on their practice squad. Flowers was on their practice squad off and on during the 2003 season, and then came to the team's training camp the past two seasons. Now, he'll try to make the cut on the other New York team.

Flowers is named after the character from Robin Hood, if you're wondering why the name might ring a bell.
