The Cowboys released Keyshawn Johnson and signed Terrell Owens, but don't forget about Terry Glenn. The team signed Glenn to a five-year extension worth $20 million. Glenn's previous contract would have kept him with the team for two more years only.
"We've been trying to do something, and have talked about it for a while. It finally came together," said Glenn's agent, Jimmy Gould. "He's excited about it. With he and T.O., it's a good deal."
Last year, Glenn caught 62 passes for 1,136 yards and seven touchdowns. Bledsoe and Glenn worked well together, just as they had in 1996 and 1999 when they were also teammates in which Glenn recorded 1,000 yards receiving.
Glenn became the first Cowboys receiver to catch for more than 1,000 yards since Raghib Ismail did it in 1999.
