The Houston Texans have found their new starting tight end. The Texans signed tight end Jeb Putzier to a contract after he became a free-agent a few weeks ago. Putzier has spent the past few seasons with the Denver Broncos.
Last year, Putzier had 37 catches for 481 yards. In his four years with Denver, Putzier has recorded 77 passes for 1,087 yards and two touchdowns. Last year, the tight end was not used very much in the Texans' offense, as they even released the pass-catching Billy Miller.
