The New York Jets have signed free-agent linebacker Brad Kassell to a contract. Kassell has been with the Tennessee Titans since he signed by them in 2002 as an undrafted free-agent.

Kassell made 32 starts for the Titans over his four years and totaled 259 tackles. Last season, Kassell started 14 games and recorded 89 tackles. He also had an interception for a touchdown. Kassell could be considered one of the underrated linebackers that was still on the market.
