The New York Jets have signed unrestricted free agent Jeb Putzier to an offer sheet. The Denver Broncos can choose to match that offer within seven days if they wish. The deal is said to be worth $12.5 million for five years along with a $2.5 million signing bonius.

If the Broncos don't re-sign Putzier, then they will receiver a sixth-round draft pick from the Jets as compensation.

Last season, Putzier had 36 catches for 572 yard and two touchdowns with the Broncos. If Putzier becomes a Jet, he will likely be the starter.
