Next season, Monday Night Football will be moving to ESPN, while Sunday Night Football will be moving to NBC. John Madden, who has announced Monday Night Football for the past few years, will also be moving to Sunday Night Football.

NBC signed Madden to a six-year deal to be the lead analyst on the announcing team. At the moment, it is unknown of whom his play by play partner will be. On Monday Night Football, Madden announced with Al Michaels most recently. After the NBA playoffs are over, NBC will discuss the possibility of Michaels coming along with Madden.

Before being on ABC, Madden was with FOX from 1994 to 2001, where he teamed with announcer Pat Summerall. Before FOX, Summerall and Madden were the top announcing team on CBS for 13 years.
