The Cleveland Browns have released left tackle Ross Verba after the disgruntled lineman wanted out of Cleveland. Verba was unhappy that he did not get a new contract from the team.
After the Browns recently signed L.J. Shelton, a left tackle, Verba definitly wanted out of Cleveland. Verba had to pay back a $465,000 roster bonus to the team.
Although the Browns have made upgrades on their offensive line, Verba stuck with the Browns during their troubles and injuries. Verba was the only offensive lineman to play in all 16 games last season.
