-
Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson will get his chance to run for the team next season - as a backup still. This can still be positive news for Johnson, who was ont eh verge of being traded last season.

After Holmes was injured near mid-season, Derrick Blaylock saw most of the carries. During the last few games, the team finally gave Johnson his shot where he shined.

With a healthy Holmes coming back next season, Johnson will be the guy who comes in to give Holmes a rest when needed and provide a nice 1-2 punch.
