It looks like Kevin Jones won't miss six games after all. The team removed running back Kevin Jones from the physically unable to perform list on Saturday, meaning that he will not have to sit out the first six games of the season. Jones has not seen any live game action since last season, when he missed the final three games due to a broken foot. Before his injury last year, Jones ran for 689 yards and three touchdowns while catching 61 passes for 520 yards and two touchdowns.
The Lions have stated that Jones will practice this week in pads to prepare for the team's game against the Raiders, but nothing has been said on whether or not he will actually play. At the moment, running back Tatum Bell is the team's starting running back.
