The NFL announced that starting in the 2006 NFL season, Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football will take place on new networks.

Monday Night Football, hosted by John Madden and Al Michaels, will be on ESPN. People will not be able to watch the game unless they have cable. ABC previously had the ownership rights to MNF.

Sunday Night Football, which has been controlled by ESPN for the past few years, will now be broadcast by NBC, who will finally be getting back into the football industry.
