Right tackle
Marc Colombo re-signed with the Dallas Cowboys for two years on Friday after starting all 16 games last season in his first season with the team. Colombo's deal is reportedly worth around $7 million. The Cowboys are trying to strengthen their offensive line, as shown by already re-signing center
Andre Gurode and then signing free agent offensive lineman
Leonard Davis.
Colombo was originally a first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2002. He had suffered numerous injuries during his first few years in the league, but was impressive enough for the Cowboys to retain him another two years.
The team made another move by releasing backup offensive tackle
Jason Fabini, who played in 15 games this past season.
