-
The National Football league has announced the national television schedule for their annual "Kickoff Weekend". It will begin on Thursday, September 8th on ABC, as the Oakland Raiders will visit the defending Superbowl Champion New England Patriots in Foxboro for the first time since the infamous "Snowbowl" in the 2001 AFC divisional playoffs.

On Sunday, September 11, the San Diego Chargers will take on Drew Bledsoe and the Dallas Cowboys in the back-end of a Fox national double header.

Later that day, Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens will take on Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts on ESPN's Sunday Night Football.

It should be an interesting and exciting opening weekend.
