The NFL is proposing that two regular-season games be played outside of the United States beginning in 2008. The proposal follows up on the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals last year, which was played in Mexico city. The game was played before a crowd if 103,000.

More will be discussed come October. The games would potentially be played in Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Germany. There is also a chance that two more teams could be added to the NFL Europe league by 2010. The NFL wants the sport to become more international, and they feel this is a way to do it.

What do you feel about this happening? What if you are a die-hard fan of your team, and you have one-less home game because the game is being played overseas? Would it be considered an honor to see your team getting recognition, or would you be upset? Let us know at pokorny@pfcritics.com.
