In a suspected move, the Green Bay Packers ate the contract they gave Tim Couch and ended up cutting him. Couch was believed to be the heir to Tim Couch, but he really struggled in Green Bay. He had a sore arm almost the whole preseason, and could not "gel" with the offensive scheme.

I bet Couch is wishing he would have accepted Cleveland's contract offer before they signed Garcia now.

On another note, the Packers also cut defensive end Tyrone Rogers as a noteable cut.
