The Green Bay Packers depth chart continues to get thinner and thinner. After losing backup RB Najeh Davenport two weeks ago for the season, the Packers lost starting RB Ahman Green for the season to a ruptured right thigh tendon.
On top of losing Green, the Packers will be without WR Robert Ferguson for at least a month. Ferguson suffered a torn lateral cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The Packers have a brutal schedule coming up, and their starting running back will be Tony Fisher at the moment. ReShard Lee will be his backup.
Donald Driver will see a lot of looks as a receiver now. Antonio Chatman, who started the year as the fourth receiver, will be a starter alongside Driver.
"We're all filling each other's shoes right now," Driver said.
The Packers have already lost WR Javon Walker, Davenport, and WR Terrence Murphy.
"Oh, it's a big loss. That's our star running back and they always say we've got to establish the running game," Driver said.
Green has struggled this year, while Favre has done fairly well in the passing game. The Packers may resort to throwing the ball on even more downs than before just to stay in the game.
