The Green Bay Packers have hired Jeff Jagodzinski as their offensive coordinator. Jagodzinski was the Packers' tight ends coach from 1999 to 2003, before being fired by Mike Sherman.

Packers' head coach Mike McCarthy worked with Jagodzinski in 1999, since McCarthy was the team's quarterbacks coach that season.

Jagodzinski has spent the past two seasons coaching the tight ends and offensive line for the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have run the ball very well the past two years, which probably influenced the devision to hire him.

Jagodzinski, at age 42, has 21 seasons of coaching experience at the professional and college levels.
