The Green Bay Packers have placed tight end Bubba Franks and punter B.J. Sander on the injured reserve, officially ending their seasons.
Franks injured his back and his neck against the Chicago bears on December 4th and has not played in the past two games. He has had injury trouble throughout the year, and finishes the season with 25 catches for 207 yards.
Sander suffered a bruised left leg against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. In just his second season, Sander had punted the ball 64 times with an average net of 33.9 yards.
The Packers signed Ran Carthon to the practice squad. Carthon served as the backup to Edgerrin James for the Indianapolis Colts earlier this season.
