-
The Green Bay Packers have released defensive tackle Donnell Washington. Washington was a third-round draft pick by the Packers in 2004, but he never played in a regular-season game. He suffered a foot injury as a rookie and missed the entire season. Last year, he was inactive for 15 games during the regular season.

It was also reported that Washington had reported to camp out of shape, and wasn't worth the trouble for the Packers anymore.
