Cleveland, OH. (PFCritics) -- The Carolina Panthers signed second-round pick Richard Marshall to a four-year deal on Wednesday. Marshall, a cornerback from Fresno State, will compete with veteran Reggie Howard for the team's third cornerback spot. Ken Lucas and Chris Gamble have locked up the starting positions.

Marshall, at 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds, will make $2.86 million. The only Panthers draft picks that have not signed are first-round running back DeAngelo Williams and fourth-rounder Nate Salley.
