The New England Patriots have added backup running back Patrick Pass to their 53-man roster. Pass had been on the physically unable to perform list since September 2nd due to a foot injury. If the Patriots hadn't activated Pass by Tuesday, he would have been placed on the injured reserve.
Pass was drafted in the seventh round of the 2000 draft by New England and has always been a help on special teams and certain passing situations. It hasn't been made clear whether or not he'll play today against the Chicago Bears. The Patriots were able to remove him from the PUP list after they placed punter Josh Miller on the injured reserve on Friday.
