Cleveland, OH. (PFCritics) -- Newly acquired defensive lineman Johnathan Sullivan was arrested on Sunday morning with possession of marijuana and several other minor offenses, according to police reports. Sullivan, a former first-round draft pick (2003), was recently traded to the New England Patriots from the New Orleans Saints for receiver Bethel Johnson.
According to reports, Sullivan was driving around with very loud music blasting in his car at 3:56 a.m. Sullivan also drove through two stop signs and was not wearing a seatbelt. A handgun was also retrieved from Sullivan's vehicle, along with the marijuana. He was released on bond by the station.
The incident may put Sullivan's chances of making the Patriots in jeopardy. He has had numerous problems in the past, so this does not really come as a surprise.
