Patriots Decide to Keep WR Brown

Brown can also be considered a defensive back. When the Patriots were in need of cornerbacks after Ty Law went down, Brown was able to step up and play against the slot receiver. He had three interceptions and 17 tackles defensively. Brown still played as a wideout, recording 17 catches for 184 yards over the season. Troy Brown is one of those roleplays that Belichick needs on his team, and he has filled his role perfectly.
