The New England Patriots have released running back Mike Cloud. Cloud had been having a pretty good preseason, so the moves comes as somewhat of a surprise, since he didn't seem to have done anything wrong. The Patriots however did release Lawyer Milloy last season surprisingly, though Cloud was no where near the player that Milloy was.

Last year with the Patriots, Cloud had five touchdowns rushing for the team.
