-
The New England Patriots have released quarterback Chris Redman. Redman was signed by the team in January 2005 and did not play the entire 2004 season.

Redman had a good chance to make the team before they signed veteran Doug Flutie earlier in the week.

The Patriots depth chart will likely be Tom Brady, Flutie, and Rohan Davey. Rookie quarterback Matt Cassel(7th round pick), could make the team or be on the practice squad.

Redman's best days came as a Raven from 2000-2003.
