The New England Patriots have signed free agent safety Antuan Edwards, who has spent the past six seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins and the St. Louis Rams.

Last year, Edwards made 65 tackles in 13 starts. He split time with the Rams and Dolphins last season.

The move adds to the Patriots depth on defense.
