-
Hopes of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Peter Warrick making a full return from injury this season were shot down when the Bengals announced he will not play the rest of the season. Warrick injured his left shin during the Bengals season opener.

The Bengals have had a poor season so far. Carson Palmers progress has been slow, the defense can't stop the run, and now they lose a receiver threat.

Head coach Marvin Lewis feels it's better that they make it official, so that Warrick will be perfectly fine by next season, rather than risking something else.
