Cleveland, OH. (PFCritics) -- The Philadelphia Eagles signed fourth-round draft pick Jason Avant on Thursday. Avant, a wide receiver from Michigan, will try to fill one of the biggest voids on the Eagles team.
Last year, Avant caught 82 passes for 1,007 yards and eight touchdowns for Michigan. He was their team-MVP as well, and always made an impact for the Wolverines. Many feel that Avant was another steal for the Eagles, since they were able to select him in round four.
At 6-foot, 212 pounds, Avant is the sixth of eight Eagles' draft picks to sign so far. During his college career, he caught 169 passes for 2,247 yards and 13 touchdowns.
