Jeff Garcia just can't catch a break. Garcia broke his leg during the final preseason game for the Detroit Lions on Friday. X-rays showed that Garcia broke his fibula.

Garcia was hurt after a 23-yard run, when his left foot got caught on the turf has he was hit by Bills cornerback Terrence McGee. Garcia was brought in as a veteran in case Joey Harrington did poorly this year.

Rookie quarterback Dan Orlovsky will be the current backup for Harrington. Expect the team to look for a veteran backup.
