After rumors of Jerry Porter possibly testing free agency, he signed a five year deal worth about $20 millon with the Oakland Raiders. Porter was the teams number one receiver this season and is one of their strengths on offense. He has spent five years with the Raiders, and is glad to be back.

"I'm happy to return to the Raiders and ready to get started on a new football season," said Porter.

This season, Porter had 64 catches for 998 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Raiders also made another move by designating four time Pro-Bowl cornerback Charles Woodson as their franchsie player. Woodson was the Raiders franchise player last year as well, and will receive about $10.5 million next season.
