The Oakland Raiders have signed defensive end Lance Johnstone, who has spent the past five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. In ten seasons, Johnstone has recorded 70 sacks. He was originally a second-round draft pick from the Raiders in 1996. He spent the first five years of his career with the Raiders before leaving for Minnesota.
Last year, Johnstone led the Vikings with 7.5 sacks in 12 games. He joins Derrick Burgess, who led the league in sacks last year with 16. The duo will make an instant impact in their division.
