-
The Oakland Raiders traded running back Troy Hambrick and defensive end Peppi Zellner to the Arizona Cardinals for an undisclosed 2005 draft pick.

The Cardinals made the deal so that Hambrick could back-up Emmitt Smith, after learning that Marcell Shipp was out for the season. Hambrick could very well be the starting running back down the line, since Smith is aging and may not stay healthy.
