The Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms on a two year contract with recently waived New Orleans Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks. Brooks was benched last season after a 3-10 start and only 13 touchdowns to go with 17 interceptions. For his career, Brooks has thrown for 19,156 yards with 120 touchdowns and 84 interceptions.
It is believed that Brooks will be brought in as a stop gap until either Andrew Walter or possibly another quarterback that the Raiders may take in this April's draft, develops.
Brooks had his best season in 2003, where he threw for 3456 yards, 24 touchdowns and just 8 interceptions.
