Cleveland, Oh. (PFCritics) -- The Indianapolis Colts traded safety Gerome Sapp to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday in exchange for a conditional draft pick in 2007. Sapp was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2003 draft in the sixth-round. The Ravens waived him at the start of the 2004 season, and the Colts signed him.
Sapp has played in 43 games total, primarily on special teams, and has recorded 74 tackles. The Ravens often feel that they find "gems" in the draft, which is probably a reason they wanted Sapp back. Last year was Sapp's best season, playing in all 16 games and recorded 37 tackles.
