The Washington Redskins have signed punter Derrick Frost to take over punting duties for the moment. He will also be the holder on field goals and extra points. The Redskins waived punter Andy Groon, who only averaged 39.0 yards a punt in 11 tries this year.

Frost was the Browns starter for the 2004-2005 season. He was waived to make room for Kyle Richardson, the current punter for the Browns.
