Ricky Williams may feel like retiring again after this one. Williams was suspended for the entire 2006-2007 season for violating the substance abuse policy. However, Williams has stated that he would like to play again.

"I'm disappointed with the decision, but I respect it," said Williams. "I'm proud of my association with the National Football League and look forward to returning to the Dolphins in 2007."

Williams missed the entire 2004 season after he retired before training camp, due to his drug troubles. Last year, he joined the Dolphins again after serving a four-game suspension to begin the season.

"Ricky is obviously disappointed," said Williams' agent, Leigh Steinberg. "He'll need to work hard to get back to the league in 2007."

In the past, Williams tested positive for marijuana. In this case, however, it is believed that Williams used another substance.

After returning to the league last year, Williams split time with rookie Ronnie Brown and ran the ball well, rushing for 743 yards total. The move may force the Dolphins to seek a running back in this week's draft.
