The New Orleans Saints have locked up wide receiver Joe Horn for another six years. Horn and the Saints agreed to a six-year deal worth $42 million, including a $7 million dollar signing bonus.

Horn only had one year left on his contract, and the nine-year veteran wanted to continue playing for the Saints; a team that could very well contend this season.

Horn has been productive throughout his career, especially last year. Horn caught 94 passes for 1,399 yards and 11 touchdowns.

"When I came here the Saints gave me an opportunity to make a name for myself and I did that on the football field and off," Horn said. "I look forward to doing what I've done the last five years and that's catching footballs and trying to win a Super Bowl."
